In this guide, we will show you how you can get Survivor Medals in Fortnite and the various medal rarities.
Introduced in Chapter 4 Season 4, Survivor Medals are a new reward mechanic that is present in several Fortnite game modes.
Similar to Accolades and Battle Medals from seasons past, Survivor Medals are given to players after they complete quests or achieve certain objectives.
There are various Survivor Medal rarities, with each of them offering more challenging quests and increased rewards. Utilize the various new weapons and Reality Augments available in the current season to climb your way to the top of the rarity leaderboard.
Here's how you can get Survivor Medals in Fortnite. We'll also show you their corresponding rarities.
How To Get Survivor Medals In Fortnite
You will earn the first Survival Medal by staying alive for long enough in a match. There are seven medal rarities, with ten medal upgrades per rarity (starting from 10 and ending with 1; Common 1 for example).
To upgrade to the next medal, you will need to complete a Survivor Quest in Battle Royale or Zero Build. The Quest willchallenge you to outlast a set number of opponents while requiring you to get a certain number of eliminations.
- If you're looking for the best possible controller to use in Fortnite mobile, we recommend using the Razer Kishi mobile game controller that will give you an edge over your opponents.
The Quests will get progressively harder. The rule is that the higher the medal rarity, the harder the Quests.
Overall, Survivor Medals can be seen as a move from Epic Games to discourage players from winning a match with a low elimination count.
All Survivor Medals Rarities In Fortnite
As mentioned earlier, there are seven Survivor Medal rarities in Fortnite. The starting medal rarity is Common, while the highest is Mythic.
Once you get the Common 1 Survivor Medal, you will unlock the Prized Llama Back Bling. New styles for this Back Bling can be unlocked by reaching the top of other medal rarities.
We have listed the Survival Medal rarities from highest to lowest below:
- Mythic
- Exotic
- Legendary
- Epic
- Rare
- Uncommon
- Common
Your Survivor Medal progress will be reset at the end of every match. You will be rewarded based on your efforts per match, so make sure you put your best foot forward in these Quests.
