Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 continues to follow its planned timeline, and today marks the launch of the highly anticipated update v26.30.

In this latest update, several items from the previous release have been vaulted, making room for introducing Halloween-themed cosmetics and weapons.

New Fortnitemares Weapons In Fortnite

Four new weapons have been added to Fortnite in the v26.30 update: The Wood Stake Shotgun, Thorne's Vampiric Blade, Pumpkin Launcher, and Witch Broom.

Additionally, the Game Time, Icy Slide, and Rushing Reload Reality Augments have returned to the game.

Candy Corn, Pepper Mints, Hop Drops, and Jelly Beans have been unvaulted during Fortnitemares 2023. Each of them offers a unique benefit when consumed.

You can find Candy items in Fortnite by looking in Candy Buckets, ringing doorbells, defeating guards, or taking down bosses.

In keeping with the spooky theme, the Fortnite update v26.30 has finally unveiled the highly-anticipated Halloween-themed cosmetics.

The new Outfits include wrapped rapscallion Seth, Muckfish Bogstick, Meownstrosity Phantom Meowscles, and nautilus Festival Phaedra.

Besides this, Fortnite saw the return of fan-favorite outfits such as Disney's Jack Skellington, Michael Myers, and Alan Wake.

Players can complete individual Fortnitemares Quests to earn XP. Completing a certain amount of Quests will also reward players with special items.

This includes:

  • Complete 5 Fortnitemares Quests to earn the Bat Royale Back Bling and a Cat Banner Icon.
  • Complete 15 Fortnitemares Quests to earn the Sweet! Emote, Phantasmic Fall Contrail, and Hypno-Bat Spray.
  • Complete 25 Fortnitemares Quests to earn the Revenant Rider Glider, Within the Sanctum Loading Screen, and Rise of the Revenant Lobby Track.

Horde Rush Returns To Fortnite

The excitement brought by update v26.30 is unceasing, especially with the revival of the Horde Rush Mode.

As you may know, this mode involves players engaging in relentless battles against cube monsters across three distinct stages, culminating in a showdown with a formidable final boss.

You'll have the opportunity to relish this mode from October 11 until November 3, so make the most of it while you can.

Horde Rush has its own set of Quests that players can complete to unlock new Locker items. These include:

  • Complete 1 Horde Rush Quest to earn The Murk Wrap.
  • Complete 4 Horde Rush Quests to earn the Heart-o-Lantern Emoticon.
  • Complete 7 Horde Rush Quests to earn the Batwing Bonespike Pickaxe.

New Fortnite UI Has Been Implemented
