Season 4: Aspire will introduce several weapon and legend balance changes the community has long been calling for.
Is this really it? Season 4 of Apex Legends Mobile is set to be its last, coming after Respawn Entertainment - not exactly the developers of the title, but certainly its guardians - decided to close the game down, citing the poor "quality, quantity, and cadence" of the seasonal updates.
Few in the community could take issue with that assessment - many said the same thing - but it has still been a hard pill to swallow for many that have invested their time and money into the game.
That pill may be bittersweet, too, as this soon-to-be-released update is introducing many features players have long called for, including the Olympus map and a tournament mode.
There will also be several weapon and legend balance changes, as well as some movement tweaks aimed at curtailing the dreaded spam jumping that has plagued the game since launch.
Below we take a look at all of the balance changes heading into Season 4: Aspire.
Apex Legends Mobile Season 4: Aspire - Weapon Balance Changes
In Season 4, there will be adjustments to the weapons available in Airprops, as well as fully-kitted weapons.
For those unaware, fully-kitted weapons are legendary weapons with the best attachments. They have an 80% chance to spawn in Hot Zones and can also be found in other high-tier loot zones such as gold death boxes and gold cargo bots.
New fully-kitted weapons in Season 4 are the Flatline, L-STAR, Triple Take, and Charge Rifle.
In terms of Airdrops, the Prowler Burst PDW and L-STAR are out, while the G7 Scout and Havoc are in.
The R-301 and Sentinel will be available in the Replicator.
The following weapon balance changes will be in effect:
- L-STAR
- Base Damage reduced from 19 to 18
- Overheat bullet count adjusted to 22/24/26/30
- Longbow
- Firing interval adjusted from 0.77s to 0.65s
- Increased the hit deceleration effect of sniper weapons
- R-99, Prowler, RE45, Volt SMG, Alternator
- Slightly reduced overall recoil
Apex Legends Mobile Season 4: Aspire - Legend Balance Changes
Two legends will see balance changes in Season 4, Crypto and Ash, with the update also marking the point when Horizon will join the Apex Mobile roster.
Crypto
- Adjusted the way Crypto's Drone EMP is deployed: the drone can be deployed to a targeted location by pressing and holding the ability button and selecting a target location after release. Upon completion the drone will fly to that targeted location and activate its EMP explosion.
Ash
- Added a minimum travel distance of 5 meters to Phase Breach.
