Level Infinite recently showcased Assassin's Creed Jade at Gamescom 2023. In it, they confirmed that a second round of closed beta tests is on its way.
Assassin's Creed Jade is arguably one of the most highly-anticipated mobile game releases to date. Crafted by Ubisoft and Level Infinite, it is the first title from the illustrious franchise to bring an authentic open-world RPG experience to players on the small screen.
Now, the developers recently shared a new trailer at Gamescom 2023 that showcased the game's story, mechanics, and quality graphics. The gameplay experience looks stellar and could be mistaken to be one of a console title.
Besides this, the developers confirmed that the game will be officially called Assassin's Creed Jade. It was previously known as Codename Jade when it was first announced.
These two were not the most important pieces of news for the game, however. This belongs to the developers announcing that a second round of closed beta tests will be held for Assassin's Creed Jade.

The duration of Assassin's Creed Jade closed beta 2.0 is expected to be a week. It will be available for all players (both Android and iOS) in the world to participate in, but the number of participant slots will be limited to just 5,000 people.
Servers will be located in North America and Western Europe, so players will need to select the server that best suits them in terms of connectivity.
It is likely that the same set of minimum system requirements will remain for the game's second closed beta tests. These are:
- Android: Snapdragon 865 or above, running Android 10 or above.
- iOS: iPhone 11 or above.
Assassin's Creed Jade is expected to be released in late 2023 or early 2024. An official release date has yet to be given, but the game appears to just need some final touches, so a global launch could be soon.
The next few months will prove to be an exciting time for fans of the AC franchise. Not only will this mobile title be released, but Ubisoft's upcoming action-adventure title, Assassin's Creed Mirage, will be launched in October 2023.
Mirage will follow the story of Basim Ibn Ishaq (a character first seen in AC Valhalla) in 9th-century Baghdad. On the other hand, Jade will follow the story of Xia as he goes on a journey to exact revenge against enemies in ancient China.
