Candace, Cyno, and Nilou are slated to be the three newest characters who will be coming to Genshin Impact in the version 3.1 update!
Version 3.1 has been announced! Titled King Deshret and the Three Magi, it will build upon your travels through the broad and limitless Sumeru region (which was introduced in version 3.0) by welcoming you to a new explorable desert area. The Genshin Impact version 3.1 update will be released on September 28.
But that's not all that has people hyped about the new update. It's also been revealed that Candace, Cyno, and Nilou will be three new characters that will be added to Genshin Impact in version 3.1! Let's go over them all.
Genshin Impact V3.1 New Character - Candace
Candace is a Hydro-element four-star character who uses a polearm as a weapon. She is the descendant of King Deshret and the current Guardian of Aaru Village - a place you'll often see in the new Sumerian area.
Candace will be available during the first phase of the version 3.1 update in Genshin Impact. She will co-headline a future banner event that Cyno will be headlining. A re-run of a Venti banner event will also be available. This could be your chance to add Candace to your collection.
Genshin Impact V3.1 New Character - Cyno
Cyno is an Electro-element five-star character who wields a polearm as his weapon of choice. He first appeared in Genshin Impact during Chapter III of the Teyvat Chapter Storyline: Travail, which was released in 2020. Since then, Chapter I and II characters such as Diluc, Kamisato Ayaka, and Ningguang have become playable characters.
Known as General Mahamatra, Cyno is in charge of supervising the researchers of the Akademiya. Lore suggests that when he works, he is "more efficient than the Great Vayuvyastra" made by the Kshahrewar.
Cyno will be available during the first phase of the version 3.1 update in Genshin Impact. He will also have his own banner event (which will also include Candace).
Genshin Impact V3.1 New Character - Nilou
Nilou is a Hydro-element five-star character that is equipped with a sword. She is the star of Zubayr Theater and is described as "going off the beaten path" by pursuing art and dance. This runs counter to the traditional values such as rationality and wisdom that are especially treasured in a place such as Sumeru.
Nilou will be available during her banner event that will be held in the second phase of the version 3.1 update of Genshin Impact (which will also include the Geo-element five-star character Albedo).
Genshin Impact V3.1 - Albedo And Venti Return
Two characters will be returning to Genshin Impact in version 3.1: Albedo and Venti. Albedo is a genius known as the Kreideprinz, as well as the Chief Alchemist and Captain of the Investigation Team of the Knights of Favonius. Venti is one of the many bards of Mondstadt.
Albedo will be featured in a banner event with Nilou during the second phase of the version 3.1 update. Venti, on the other hand, will be featured in a banner event alongside Candace.
