It's been revealed that Farlight 84 will be launched globally on all mobile platforms by the end of April 2023. At the same time of its release, the PC version will be made available for Early Access on Steam.

In their announcement, the developers reflected on the unfortunate shutdown of Apex Legends Mobile and how it was a blow for many. They recognized that a large majority of those who participated in the game's recent beta test were former Apex Mobile players.

Many believe Farlight 84 to be a worthy successor to the now-fallen mobile shooter as it has a familiar battle royale feel. The two games share a tactical gameplay experience and skill-based Heroes.

The devs further went on to assure players that they'll "never shut down the Farlight 84 servers." It's certainly a bold promise to make considering how cutthroat the gaming scene can be to even established titles such as Battlefield Mobile.

Regardless, the devs have their eyes firmly set on the future and have unveiled a development roadmap for the game in 2023. This includes adding a battle pass, tournaments, and vehicles upon the game's release.

New Heroes, skills, and game modes are set to be part of an update in July. Further down the line in November, the devs will introduce a Player Battlegrounds mode and additional map mechanics.

The future definitely looks bright for Farlight 84. Given all these huge plans, we can't wait to sink our teeth into it once it's released in April.
