The Nintendo Switch version of Hogwarts Legacy has finally been given a release date.
Hogwarts Legacy has finally got a release date for its Nintendo Switch version, with the game set to come out on July 23, 2023.
The Nintendo Switch version was never given a release date, but it was confirmed today (December 13) along with the news that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will be delayed until April 4.
That means the Nintendo Switch version will be the last announced platform to get the game, with the title expected to launch on the PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox X/S on February 10.
The delays were announced on the game's socials, with the developers stating they are "looking forward to bringing you the game, and we want to deliver the best possible game experience across all platforms."

This isn't the first delay for the much-anticipated title. When first announced, it was given a release date of some point in 2022, but that was changed to February 2023 earlier in the year.
Developed by Avalanche Software, Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world action RPG set in the world first introduced in the Harry Potter books. Players take on the rule of a fifth-year student at Hogwarts, who holds the key to an "ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart."
Players will be able to learn spells, explore Hogwarts and its surrounding grounds, and level up their character's skills in what is surely the most expansive Harry Potter game to date.
Rumors that the Nintendo Switch version may be played via the cloud have yet to be confirmed.
