Season 8 of Rocket League Sideswipe will begin on March 27 and end on May 22. This gives you roughly a month to embrace the new update and make your way to the top of Ranked.

Rocket League Sideswipe Season 8 - Rocket Pass
As announced in Season 7, your Rocket Pass progression is now permanent so your progress will not be reset in Season 8. Instead, you can continue to earn Presents from where you left off at the end of last season.
The Item Shop has also been refreshed to include new cosmetics such as the Sky Blue Holo Data Goal Explosion, Sky Blue Tsunami Beam, and Crimson Cyclone Car.
Rocket League Sideswipe Season 8 - Ranked Rewards
After the graffiti-inspired avatars and banners of the past, Season 8 will be introducing bigger and better rewards.
You can earn Rocket Ball-inspired Avatars based on your peak rank during this season. There will be one available for each of the seven ranks, so don't worry about missing out if you don't climb high enough.
On top of these new Avatars, you will also be able to earn the usual Player Titles.
Rocket League Sideswipe Season 8 - Hoops Return
Looking for a break from the traditional soccer action in Rocket Leauge Sideswipe? The devs feel the same way and have brought Hoops back to Ranked Mode.
Dribble past your opponents, practice your drop shots, and hone your skills in this basketball-inspired game mode.
Remember that Extra Modes rotate every season, so Hoops will only remain in the game for as long as Season 8 is around.
