Genshin Impact 4.4 Leaks Reveals A New Artifact Custom Loadout System

In this article, we will go over the leaks that showcase the upcoming Artifact Loadout system that will supposedly come to Genshin Impact in the next update.

Artifact Loadouts is one of the most essential and basic features that the Genshin Impact community has been asking from Hoyoverse for a long time.

As you may know, with the introduction of every new artifact, keeping track of them becomes daunting.

Moreover, for players who often switch between different builds always have to manually find and change the artifacts.

Well! Things might change a little bit with the version 4.4 update as the leaks from the Genshin Impact 4.4 beta version showcase a new Artifact Preset system named 'Custom Loadout,' which allows players to filter artifact based on the following parameters to generate a loadout from the artifacts they own:

  • Main Affix
  • Set Type
  • Sort by Minor Affix
    • Priority Minor Affixes
    • Secondary Minor Affixes
  • Other Options
    • Only Artifacts that are not equipped
    • All

While this Artifact Custom Loadout system is great and a good start, it would be great if Hoyoverse adds a feature to save loadouts like we have for team comps.

For someone like me who often switches between artifacts while working on the different build guides, having a loadout would definitely help.

Whenever I hop into the game, I have to manually equip the artifacts on my main team and for many characters, I even forget which artifacts I was using on them.

That being said, the current artifact Custom Loadout feature is not that bad; it's just that instead of naming it as Custom Loadout, it works more like an advanced version of Artifact Sorting.

So, we are hoping they would take the feedback from the community and beta testers and add a save feature to the Custom Loadout as "A Custom Loadout is not a Custom loadout without a save feature."
