Navia is a five-star Geo element user and a Claymore wielder in Genshin Impact whose character kit makes her a great DPS unit that can deal both single-target and AoE-based damage.

While Geo is one of the most underwhelming elements in the entire game, Navia's abilities make it somewhat more appealing. On top of that, seeing her character and model design, we have many players looking forward to getting Navia.

For such players, this guide will help as we share the best build for Navia, talking about the best weapons, artifacts, and team compositions for her in Genshin Impact.

Update: We have made minor updates to the build guide on January 15, 2024.

Navia Best Build In Genshin Impact

Here's how you can build Navia in the best way possible. | © Hoyoverse

The best build for Navia is the one that utilizes weapons and artifacts that improve her abilities as a DPS unit, which can further be bolstered by the correct team composition.

That being said, here are a few key points that we have managed to pull out from Navia's leaked character kit that will help us attain the best build:

  • Navia Scales with ATK stat (Previously, based on the fact that she is a Geo unit, we had speculations she might scale with DEF. But now that we have her full kit, she does scale with ATK)
  • Crystallize elemental reaction is vital to fully utilize her abilities, especially her Elemental Skill
  • The more Crystallize Shard you collect while using her Elemental Skill, the more the damage
  • 3 Shards -> 11 Bullets fired -> 200% damage, with every extra shard increasing the damage by 15%
  • Her abilities deal Geo damage, which is quite obvious, but we wanted to highlight that increasing Geo DMG should be one of the priorities
  • Passive Talent 1: After using the Elemental Skill (E), damage is converted to unenchantable Geo damage, increasing damage dealt by 40% for 4 seconds.
  • Passive Talent 2: For each party member whose element is Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo, Navia's ATK is increased by 20%. This effect can stack up to two times for a maximum of 40% ATK increase.

If we missed out on any major point that would affect Navia's build, please share it in the comments, along with details on how it will affect her damage scaling so that we can add it in this section to provide more accurate build information.

That being said, based on the above points, when building Navia, we have to make sure to use weapons and artifacts that either increase the ATK stat or Geo damage.

Note: This is a pre-release build and we will try to make it as perfect it can get before the release. So expect changes every now and then.

Best Weapons For Navia In Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact Navia 3

The best weapon for Navia is going to be her signature weapon, Considered Judgment, whose official name is still not known, apart from the fact that it holds the appearance of an Axe and offers the following stats and abilities:

  • Base Attack: 674
  • Secondary Stat type: CRIT Rate%
  • Secondary Stat Bonus: 22.1%
  • Ability: The weapon skill at base refinement does the following: Increases ATK by 20%. When characters in your party obtain Elemental Shards from Crystallize reactions, the equipping character will gain 1 Seal, increasing Elemental Skill DMG by 18%. The Seal lasts for 15s, and the equipper may have up to 2 Seals at once. All of the equipper's Seals will disappear 0.2s after their Elemental Skill deals DMG.

That aside, the four-star Claymore, Ultimate Overlord's Mega Magic Sword, at least that is what it is being called for now, is going to be one of the best free-to-play alternatives for Navia. Why, you may ask? First, because it's secondary stat offers ER%. Secondly, the weapon skill significantly increases her ATK%.

Apart from that, we have already seen her using the Whiteblind Claymore that you can easily craft and attain maximum refinement. It will be a great free-to-play weapon worth trying on Navia.

Its secondary stat increases DEF by 51.7% at max level, with the weapon skill further increasing ATK and DEF with every Normal or Charged Attack.

That being said, here are some other weapon options that we have sorted out for Navia:

  • Luxurious Sea-Lord (I will definitely be trying this on Navia.)
  • Beacon of the Reed Sea
  • The Unforged
  • Blackcliff Slasher (Situational)
  • Lithic Blade (Situational)
  • Katsuragikiri Nagamasa
  • Serpent Spine

Since she scales with ATK, there's a ton of weapons that you can use on Navia.

Note: If you have any other weapon that you think might work well on Navia, let us know in the commets.

Best Artifacts For Navia In Genshin Impact

The best artifact for Navia is going to be the new Geo set that will be introduced with the version 4.3 update, Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods.

Apart from that, from the looks of it, Archaic Petra and ATK-based artifacts would also work well on Navia.

What I have prepared for Navia: Since my luck with Artifact farming is awful. I have prepared great ATK, CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG based pieces from Shimenawa's Reminiscence and other ATK based artifacts. Also, I will be trying out the complete Noblesse Oblige artifact set on her. If her DMG is as good as I am thinking, I may not farm Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods during her release. If you have some spare time, let me know which artifact and weapon you are planning to use on Navia.

Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods

  • 2-Piece: Increases ATK by 18%.
  • 4-Piece: After using an Elemental Skill, increase Geo DMG by 16% for 10 seconds. If the character is protected by a shield created through a Crystallize reaction, this Geo DMG bonus is increased by an additional 150%. The increased effect will be removed 1 second after losing the Crystallize shield protection.

Archaic Petra

  • 2-Piece: Geo DMG Bonus +15%
  • 4-Piece: When using an Elemental Skill, gain the Heart of Gold effect for 10s: Gain a 16% Geo DMG Bonus. While under a shield granted by the Crystallize reaction, the Geo DMG Bonus provided by Heart of Gold will be increased by 150%, and this additional increase disappears 1s after that shield is lost.
Note: Expect changes to artifact suggestion.

Navia's passive ability increases her ATK by 20% when you have party members with any of the following visions: Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo.

This stacks up to two times, so ensure to build your team using characters who have these elements it will not only help you gain extra ATK but also let you create more Crystallize Shards.

That being said, here are some pre-release team compositions for Navia:

Note: These team comps will change as we get more details on Navia. That said, if you have a well thought out team comp in mind, share it in the comments. Also, if you are planning on using a wierd and goofy team comp for fun, still let us know and we will update this section with it. Sometimes, it's not about the damage, but about having fun.
