While the Brawl Talk has yet to be released, there are a few hints and pieces of information that the developers have handed out in the past that will certainly be talked about in the February 2024 episode.
Everything Revealed In The February 2024 Brawl Talk
Several key changes will be revealed in the coming Brawl Talk. From an overhaul of the Power League to exciting new Hypercharges, there is plenty to look forward to. We have listed all the details below.
Power League Rework
The Power League is getting a massive rework in the coming update. For some time now, this competitive game mode has often gone underappreciated as many players criticize its matchmaking system and overall experience.
In an episode of the official Brawl Stars podcast, Time To Explain, the Supercell team outlined their so-called "wild" plans for improving the Power League. To begin with, it involves shortening each Power League season to just one month – a drastic reduction from the original two-month reset. This means the new Power League will run alongside the Brawl Pass in terms of duration.
Besides this, modifiers will be introduced to the Power League. These will be determined at the beginning of each match and will have predictable effects rather than those based on RNG. The aim of this is to make the gameplay more exciting and incorporate more strategy when it comes to selecting brawlers.
New rules will also affect the various ranks. The lower ranks will not have a pick/ban phase. Meanwhile, ranks Diamond and above will retain its extremely competitive ruleset.
To top it all off, the Power League's reward system will be improved. Players will be able to earn more items in a shorter season.
Minor Changes To The Fame System
A couple of tweaks will be made to the Fame system. For starters, 'Frames' will now be called 'Battle Cards.' When you enter any battle, your Battle Card shown at the beginning of the match will change based on your Fame rank.
New Fame icons, pins, and Battle Cards will be introduced in a future update.
Potential Brawl Stars x Clash Royale Event
It is believed that a Clash Royale event will take place in Brawl Stars. It will feature King Frank skins, pins, and a new background. We can expect themed challenges and quests to also be available.
At the time of writing, it is unclear when this event will occur.
New Hypercharges Will Be Coming To Brawl Stars
As expected in any new season, more Hypercharges will be added to Brawl Stars. Six new ones are believed to have been introduced to the game.
Though the recipients have not been confirmed, they are rumored to be Belle, Buzz, and Larry & Lawrie. The other three are still unknown at the moment.
Previews Of The March 2024 Season
A sneak peek was given in an episode of the official Brawl Stars podcast where Community Manager Dani pulled out a lightning-themed hammer. This has led many players to believe that not only could this hammer be a free pin given out during the February Brawl Talk, but also that the March season will be based on mythology.
In other news, Basket Brawl will return in the upcoming season after it won a community poll. It beat the likes of other game modes such as Hunters and Duel.
New skins will almost certainly be revealed during the Brawl Talk too.
