Delta Force: Hawk Ops is an upcoming next-generation action FPS title that will be released across all major platforms. Here's everything you need to know about it.
First-person shooters are quite common in the gaming space as they're arguably the most popular genre on every platform. With so-called "major releases" for these types of games occurring nearly every month or so, it's easy to feel like some of these titles are one and the same.
However, there's been a big shift recently and it appears that developers are creating FPS titles that offer players a more unique and enjoyable experience. Warzone Mobile was the biggest contributor to this with their shared content with other Call of Duty games. Titles like Farlight 84 and Blood Strike are just behind it.
Upcoming mobile titles are now beginning to offer a different FPS experience and one of these titles is Delta Force: Hawk Ops. It's a next-generation reimagining of the classic military shooter series, Delta Force, and – from what we've seen so far – it's definitely a game worth keeping an eye out on.
Delta Force Hawk Ops Expected Release Date
There is currently no official release date for Delta Force: Hawk Ops. The game was first revealed in August 2023 at Gamescom and already appears to be quite far into development. The developers, China-based TiMi Studios, previously stated that players will be able to experience the game "soon."
Once launched, Delta Force: Hawk Ops will be available on platforms such as PlayStation, Xbox, Windows PC, Android, and iOS.

Delta Force Hawk Ops Gameplay & Trailer
Delta Force: Hawk Ops is a free-to-play multiplayer first-person tactical shooter. It promises to deliver action-packed combat with both traditional weapons and futuristic equipment at your disposal. The playable characters have their own unique "abilities" and equipment. Players can control vehicles such as tanks, boats, and helicopters.
'Zero Dam' is the only confirmed map so far. However, the trailers have revealed more maps. As far as they go, there appears to be a map set in the Middle East with rocky terrain and derelict buildings, a seaside map with cliffs and rough waters, and a map set in a large production facility.
As it stands, there are three game modes in Delta Force: Hawk Ops. These are 'Hazard Operations', 'Havoc Warfare', and 'Black Hawk Down'.
Havoc Warfare is described as a "large-scale PvP mode, where players compete as part of a large team on a massive map, featuring authentic terrains and including military vehicles, tanks and helicopters in a grand war." Not much is known about the other two game modes.
It has also been revealed that the game will feature a 'Black Hawk Down' campaign which will exclusively be available on PC and consoles only.
