Free Character: Yukong [Update: June 28, 2023]
As per leaks, you can get Yukong for free as an event reward during Honkai Star Rail 1.2 update.
Playable Characters [Update: June 19, 2023]
Kafka, Blade, and Luka are three new playable characters releasing with the Honkai Star Rail 1.2 update.

New Simulated Universe
As per leaks from Twitter user Affinity 2.0, Honkai Star Rail may get the seventh world in Simulated Universe, one of the activities in the game that serves as the counterpart of Genshin Impact's Spiral Abyss.

There are also rumors that after Gepard, Svarog, and Cocolia, we may even see Yanqing as one of the bosses in the Simulated Universe. If the rumors are true, she will serve as the boss of World 7.

New World To Explore
After Jarilo-VI and the Xianzhou Luofu, some leaks suggest Honkai Star Rail will get a third world with version 1.2 update.
This new world is rumored to be themed after a mix of late 1800 to 1900s US and France.
We will have new districts and locations to explore with the new world, which means new treasure chests, activities, and much more.

We may also see Dan Heng Imbibtor Lunae's release during the Honkai Star Rail 1.2 update, as his character kit and other details were leaked, suggesting his arrival with the version 1.2 update.
