Season 5 of Wild Rift's Ranked mode is coming to a close. Here is everything you need to know, including the end date and rewards.
League of Legends: Wild Rift is a game that almost demands a degree of competitiveness from its players, with the game's Ranked mode offering up the most full-blooded action the game has to offer.
The Ranked mode is played over seasons, with the game currently in Ranked Season 5. Each season, players attempt to win games, earn Ranked Points, and hopefully, grind up the ranks. Depending on how well you do, you will unlock in-game rewards like player emblems and champion skins.
If you want to learn more, including the end date, all the available rewards, and more, check out our Wild Rift Ranked Season 5 explainer below.
Wild Rift Ranked Season 5 - End Date
Wild Rift Ranked Season 5 started back on March 24, 2022. Wild Rift's Ranked Seasons run for approx. three and half months which would have put the end of the season around Friday, July 8.
Wild Rift is to get a major update in July, expected to happen after July 8, so it may be that Ranked Season 5 ends slightly later in the month. That update is introducing v3.3 which is expected to include Wild Rift's version of the Star Guardian event and is due to come out on Thursday, July 14.
The Wild Rift devs have promised a patch preview at some point this week, which should give us a better idea of when Ranked Season 5 will end.
Wild Rift Ranked Season 5 - Rewards And Features
Each Ranked Season offers up rewards to unlock. These are split into rewards and features. Rewards are given out at the end of the season. Reach Gold or higher and win at least ten ranked matches in that tier, and you will receive a player emblem displaying the highest rank you achieved in that season.
Players will retain these rewards after the end of the season, which are unlike features that display your rank progress throughout the season but are taken away at the start of a new Ranked Season. For Ranked Season 5, the features are an Icon Border and Loading Screen that both display your current rank.
Also recently introduced is the Ranked Reward Track, which gives players Wild Pass-type progression without having to spend any money. This is also how you now unlock the Glorious skin, which this season is Evelynn.
Your progress through the Ranked Reward Track is not directly tied to your progress up the ladder; all you have to do is play games to earn Ranked Points, which you can then use to purchase in the Ranked store.
We will continue to update this page with more information as it becomes available. As mentioned before, you still have time to climb the ranks, so keep grinding for those Ranked Points and rewards.
