Tencent Games is reportedly working on a mobile version of Elden Ring. Here's all you need to know!
FromSoftware's hit title and Hidetaka Miyazaki's masterpiece, Elden Ring, which won the title of Game of the Year 2022, along with several other awards for game direction, music and so on, is reportedly getting a mobile version, as per Reuters sources.
While players have been desperately waiting for the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, Elden Ring Mobile being in the works with Tencent Games, already buying the licensing rights for the game back in 2022, sure comes as a big surprise.
As per Reuters sources, Tencent Games wants to make Elden Ring Mobile a free-to-play game similar to the likes of Genshin Impact, which has managed to become the fastest mobile game to reach $5 billion in revenue within 40 months of launch.

But things are not looking good as Tencent Games had put together a small team to work on an Elden Ring Mobile prototype back in 2022, and so far, the progress has been very slow.
Reuters did reach out to FromSoftware and Tencent Games, but so far, they have not commented on the topic.
