The Brawl Stars Last Chance Qualifier for the Snapdragon Pro Series Brawl Stars Championship 2024 will be held at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany.
The live LAN event, which will be held between August 24 – 25, will see the incredibly popular mobile title return to the famed gaming event that has played host to other historic gaming moments. The Last Chance Qualifier is part of the broader Snapdragon Pro Series Brawl Stars Championship.
This event marks the ongoing collaboration between Supercell and ESL FACEIT Group after they signed a multi-year partnership earlier this year. Gamescom was notably the staging ground for Brawl Stars tournaments in previous seasons of the Snapdragon Pro Series.
Sam Braithwaite, VP of Game Ecosystems, Mobile, at ESL FACEIT Group, commented:
Gamescom is an iconic moment for the gaming industry, and we’re proud to be returning to the event for the third year in a row in partnership with Supercell. This is the perfect event to do it with; The Last Chance Qualifier represents the esports storylines fans love – hungry underdogs fighting for their place on the world stage – and celebrates how mobile’s accessibility can be a path to the highest level of pro play.
The Brawl Stars Last Chance Qualifier will see the top 12 teams from regions such as Asia Pacific, EMEA, North America, South America, and China battle it out to claim one of the final four seats for this year's Snapdragon Pro Series Brawl Stars World Finals.
Kim Jensen, Head of Brawl Stars Esports at Supercell, stated:
Hosting the Last Chance Qualifier at Gamescom brings competition in one of Germany’s most popular mobile games to a passionate audience. We’re looking forward to sharing this pivotal moment on the road to the Brawl Stars World Finals with hundreds of thousands of attendees.”
Fans from all over the world can attend the Last Chance Qualifier live in person or tune in to the various program livestreams to see if their favorite team secures their spot at the World Finals.
The Snapdragon Pro Series Brawl Stars Championship World Finals 2024 will be held in November. In total, this year's competitive circuit will have a global prize pool of up to $2,000,000.
