The final phase of Year 2 for the Snapdragon Pro Series took place last weekend between April 12 – 14 during the Snapdragon Mobile Masters and to say that it was action-packed would be an understatement.

The COD Mobile bracket of the competition saw eight of the best teams from all around the world, from North America all the way to China, battle it out against one another for a shot of winning the coveted trophy and earning their share of the $200,000 prize pool.

There could only be one winning team and we're pleased to say that it was Qing Jiu Club.

Hailing from China, Qing Jiu Club (otherwise known as Q9) showed up as strong favorites for winning the competition. They had been a force to be reckoned with in 2023's Call of Duty Mobile World Championship where they were narrowly defeated in the semi-finals by fellow compatriots, Wolves Esports, who later went on to win the Championship.

In the Snapdragon Mobile Masters, they seemed determined as ever to make up for past mistakes and earn themselves a title. For their opening match during the Group stage, Q9 clean-swept late-entry team, iNCO Gaming, with a 3-0 victory. In the following match, Brazil's Galorys Company put a stop to Q9's momentum by defeating them in a tight 3-1 match.

But the Chinese team quickly recomposed themselves and pulled off a stunning 3-0 victory against iNCO Gaming in the decider match for a Semi-Finals spot.

With these wins, Q9 secured themselves in the top 2 of Group A and thus qualified for the Semi-Finals where they faced the first-placed team in Group B, Seminal. It was a back-and-forth game with each team trading blows with one another. In the end, it was Q9 who earned themselves a 3-1 victory and a spot at the Grand Finals.

There, in the Grand Finals, Q9 went toe-to-toe with Galorys Company – the same team who defeated them earlier in the Group stage. The Brazilian team had earlier dispatched Stalwart Esports 3-0 in their Semi-Final match.

As they squared up against one another in their best-of-seven Grand Final match, it was a do-or-die moment for both teams as there was so much on the line. But, in a surprising turn of events, Q9 turned up their performance levels and saw them become an unstoppable force. They dominated nearly every aspect of the game and didn't allow Galorys to respond. When the dust settled, it was Q9 who won the Grand Final with a convincing 4-0 score.

This means that Qing Jiu Club are your Call of Duty: Mobile champions for the Snapdragon Mobile Masters 2024. They proved to be a step above the competition and so, have rightfully earned the trophy and $90,000 in prize money. If that wasn't enough credit for the Chinese team, their player, Ouling, was voted MVP for his stellar performances in the competition.
