PUBG Mobile Pharaoh's Cup: Schedule, Format, Registration, Prizes, How To Watch

PUBG Mobile is currently in the grips of another Ancient Secret season, with players able to explore versions of Erangel and Mirimar that hold secrets to the past with players able to explore ancient tombs and catacombs to fight the undead and earn some high-tier loot.

Now, the ancients are bringing even more prizes for players to win with the Pharaoh's Cup set to give players the opportunity to compete for prizes worth over $13,000 USD, with Apple iPhones and iPads just some of what is up for grabs.

The competition is open to players from North and South America and Oceania, with the semifinals onwards being broadcast live on the official PUBG Mobile social channels.

So, not only is it a great way to potentially win some prizes, but it could also put players on the map as they look to establish themselves as the professional PUBG Mobile players of the future.

PUBG Mobile Pharaoh's Cup - Schedule And Registration

The Pharaoh's Cup is a three-day event that officially kicks off on Tuesday, July 19, with the solo qualifiers; on July 20, the duos semifinals take place, with those that emerge victorious there booking their place in the squad grand final on July 21.

Players must be over 16 to compete, and if they are under 18, they must have the permission of a parent/guardian. Registration opened on July 15 and closes at 12 am PDT on July 18. Players can register for the competition through the official tournament page.

PUBG Mobile Pharaoh's Cup - Format

Day 1 — Open Qualifiers

• Date: Tuesday, July 19, 2022
• Start Time: 5 pm PDT / 8 pm EDT
• Estimated length (actual may vary): 2.5 hours
• Map for all matches: Erangel
• Team Format: Solos
• Number of Matches: Each player will have the chance to compete in 3 matches to accumulate points
• Qualifying for the next round: The top 200 players with the most overall points will advance to the Day 2 Semifinals

Day 2 — Semifinals

• Date: Wednesday, July 20, 2022
• Start Time: Group A 5:15 pm PDT / 8:15 pm EDT Group B: 6:30 pm PDT / 9:30 pm EDT
• Estimated length (actual may vary): 2.5 hours
• Map for all matches: Miramar
• Team Format: Duos - Solo players will be randomly paired up with another qualifying player from the previous day.
• Number of Matches: Each team will have the chance to compete in 3 matches to accumulate points.
• Number of Total Players: 200 Players will be split and assigned to 2 groups/lobbies, with 100 players per lobby.
• Qualifying for the next round: The top 25 duos from each group/lobby with the most points, for a total of 50 duos, will advance to the Day 3 Finals.
• Broadcast: Begins at 5 pm PDT / 8 pm EDT

Day 3 — Grand Finals

• Date: Thursday, July 21, 2022
• Start Time: Group A: 5:15 pm PDT / 8:15 pm EDT
• Estimated length (actual may vary): 3.5 hours
• Map for all matches: Erangel and Miramar
• Team Format: Squads (4 players) - Qualified duos will be randomly paired up with another duo to compete together as a 4-person squad.
• Number of Matches: Each squad/team will have the chance to compete in 6 matches to accumulate points.
• Number of Total Players: All players will compete in one lobby
• Qualifying for the next round: Final placement based on overall points will determine prize winnings.
• Broadcast: Begins at 5 pm PDT / 8 pm EDT

How To Watch The PUBG Mobile Pharaoh's Cup

From the semifinals onwards, PUBG esport fans can tune into all the action through the official PUBG Mobile social channels.

Broadcast on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch, viewers can tune in from 5 pm PDT on Wednesday, July 20, for the semifinals. Then on the following day, it is the grand finals, with the action once again kicking off from 5 pm PDT.
