PUBG Mobile Shotgun Tier List
There are currently six shotguns available in PUBG Mobile. The last addition was the NS2000, an accurate medium to close-range shotgun released in September 2022.
Shotguns are ideal for short-range combat due to their insane time-to-kill (TTK) and simplicity of usage. Such a combination makes shotguns perfect not only for active players but also for campers who sit in the same house with shotguns the entire game.
The rankings start from the S-Tier (the best) and end with the F-Tier (the worst).
S-Tier
The S-Tier shotguns are:
- NS2000
- DBS
The NS2000 is one of the most powerful shotguns in the game. The firearm is more accurate than all of the other shotguns and can kill in a single shot. In addition, the NS2000 has a magazine capacity of 12 shells which makes it also the most versatile shotgun ever.
The Double Barrel Shotgun, commonly known as the DBS, is a shotgun capable of firing two bullets at a time while still maintaining decent accuracy. The firearm has two barrels, each holding 7 rounds, making it a shotgun with the highest magazine capacity.
There is only one disadvantage to these two weapons. They are not easy to find as they can only be obtained through drop loot or airdrop.
A-Tier
The A-Tier shotguns are:
- M1014
- S12K
The M1014 has a range of 25-30 meters - similar to the DBS - and outperforms all of the other shotguns in terms of reload time, magazine capacity, TTK, and recoil control.
Unfortunately, this powerful firearm can only be found on the Livik - a tiny 50-person map where other weapons such as the P90, M416, and Groza are overpowered.
Coming in second place is the S12K. It is a semi-automatic shotgun that can rattle off rounds faster than classic shotguns. This provides faster time-to-kill and makes the gun more effective for beginners.
Still, the S12K is not perfect. In the stock variant, this weapon has a five-round chamber, complex recoil pattern, and long reload. Thus, proper attachments are extremely important if you want to use it effectively.
F-Tier
The F-Tier shotguns are:
- S1897
- S686
At the bottom of our tier list lies the worst shotguns in PUBG Mobile. Here, we have the S1897 and S686.
These firearms are pretty powerful, but they have pretty major drawbacks. Their time-to-kill is much longer compared to the meta weapons nowadays. Thus, we advise against holding onto these weapons beyond the first five minutes of a match.
