Before we talk about the troubleshooting steps, ensure that the Roblox servers are operational on your platform.

As mentioned earlier, the error code E01 is a server issue, mainly caused by downtime, scheduled maintenance, or when your client cannot communicate with the Roblox servers.

If the servers are operational and you are still encountering the error code E01, we recommend checking your internet connection.

That said, once the above prechecks are done, and the error still persists, try out the below troubleshooting:

Soft Reset Your Router

You can soft reset your router, aka power cycle it, by removing the power cable for around sixty seconds and then plugging it back in.

Doing so fixes any sort of glitch caused by your router that could have been preventing the Roblox client from connecting with the game servers, fixing the error code E01 issue.

Clear Roblox Cache

Clearing your Roblox cache helps in getting rid of the E01 error in Roblox. So, if you are on PC, execute the following "%localappdata%\Roblox\logs" in Run, which you can access by pressing the Windows + R key.

Delete all the files in the cache folder, restart Roblox, and try hopping into the game that you want to play; if the error is gone, all good and fine. If not, it's time for the final fix.

Re-install Roblox

Reinstalling Roblox is the most basic fix that almost everyone must try when they get any error while using Roblox, that they cannot fix using the above troubleshooting steps.
