Riot will be introducing new tank items and item reworks to Wild Rift in patch 4.1.
In patch 4.1, Riot will resume their efforts to improve the tank experience in Wild Rift. They've stated that the team is content with the progress made in patch 4.0; however, they still want to add new options to alter how players approach the tank role and the builds they decide to make.
Besides this, the devs will also be implementing reworks to a number of existing items. These will come in the form of new passives and minor stat adjustments.
Here's a look at the new tank items and the items reworks in patch 4.1.
Wild Rift Patch 4.1 - New Tank Items
Amaranth Twin Guard, Mantle of the Twelfth Hour, and Searing Crown are the new tank items from Wild Rift patch 4.1.
Amaranth Twin Guard
Amaranth Twin Guard grants stacks of Endurance while you're in combat with enemy champions. At maximum stacks (5), you'll gain additional size, 20% tenacity, increased armor, and added magic resistance. These bonuses will last until you exit combat.
It functions similarly to Rabadon's Deathcap, but it's made explicitly for tanks. Amaranth Twin Guard is the perfect late-game item to finish your tank build with.
It will cost 3,200 Gold. You will need the Chain Vest and Negatron Cloak to assemble the Amaranth Twin Guard.
Mantle Of The Twelfth Hour
Mantle of the Twelfth Hour is an excellent item if you plan on tanking incredible amounts of damage. When your health passes below 35%, you will heal for 200 + 50% of your bonus health over 3 seconds. You will also gain 50% slow resistance and 30 movement speed for 3 seconds.
It's a good pick if you want to build upon your champion's durability or act as a peel for your carries.
Mantle of the Twelfth Hour will cost 2,900 Gold. You will need the Chain Vest and Negatron Cloak to assemble it.
Searing Crown
Searing Crown is an item that will enable your attacks or abilities to burn your target for three seconds. The damage dealt will be based on your target's maximum health.
The best part about this item is that the burn damage will still apply even if you already have Sunfire Cape. So, you can turn up the heat with these two items.
Searing Crown will cost 2,700 Gold. You will need Bami's Cinder and Chain Vest to assemble it.
Wild Rift Patch 4.1 - Item Reworks
Abyssal Mask, Force of Nature, Thornmail, Sunfire Cape, and Bramble Vest will be reworked in patch 4.1.
Abyssal Mask
Riot will be replacing Abyssal Mask's passive. Instead of amplifying magic damage, the new passive will see you store part of the magic damage you take. When you immobilize an enemy, your stored-up charges will explode and deal magic damage in a small area.
Force Of Nature
Force of Nature is getting a new passive. In place of the old one, the new passive will grant you stacks of Steadfast when you take ability damage. At maximum stacks, you'll gain movement speed and reduce all incoming magic damage.
Stack duration is refreshed when you damage enemy champions. This will make Force of Nature a great pick if you aim to have a build based on durability.
Thornmail, Sunfire Cape, And Bramble Vest
Thornmail, Sunfire Cape, and Bramble Vest will receive minor stat adjustments to keep them on par with other items.
As of writing, the exact numbers have not been revealed.
