There are a variety of characters in Clash of Clans.Characters are divided into three separate types: Troops, Heroes, and Pets. There are various characters available in your Home Village and your Builder Base.

Over the game's more than decade-long existence, new characters have been continually introduced with every update, so it can be challenging to keep up with all of them.

Clash Of Clans - Normal Elixir Troops

Normal troops are the most basic of troops that can be trained at the Barracks.

Clash Of Clans - Dark Elixir Troops

Dark troops are troops that can be trained from the Dark Barracks. They are slightly more powerful than normal troops and occupy more army camp space.

Super troops are troops with special abilities that can be temporarily activated with Dark Elixir from the super troop store. Super troops are unlocked when you reach Town Hall level 11.

Clash Of Clans - Heroes

Heroes are arguably the most powerful troop in Clash of Clans. They are immortal. This means that you will only have to train them once by building their Hero altar. Heroes can be used in any battle as long as they have regenerated their HP fully from the last battle.

There are four Heroes currently in Clash of Clans. These are:

There are eight Hero Pets currently available in Clash of Clans. Pets are battle companions that will accompany any Hero into battle to provide special powers. Only one Pet can be assigned to one Hero.

Pets can be unlocked by building the Pet House that becomes available when you upgrade your Town Hall to level 14. The Pet House is a building that allows you to manage your Hero Pets, upgrade them, and assign Pets to a Hero.
