Clash Royale Chests: Rewards, Unlock Times & How To Get Them

Chests are boxes in Clash Royale that offers items such as Gold, cards, Gems, and more rewards. They're perfect for giving you the tools to unlock new cards, upgrade existing ones, obtain new cosmetics, and generally further your in-game progress.

Lucky for you, there are various Chests available. Each one can be unlocked differently and, of course, offers varying rewards. The best part is that they're relatively easy to get as they're the primary source for most in-game items. Suffice it to say that you're spoilt for choice when it comes to Chests.

The rewards offered vary with each Chest and also with your Arena level (for some). Simply put, the better the Chest's rewards, the harder they are to get. That being said, there are various ways you can get Chests. These include winning games, completing tasks, purchasing them from the Shop, and more.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to instantly reap the rewards of your Chests - at least, not for all of them. There will be a waiting period, also known as an 'Unlock Time', that you have to endure before the Chest can be opened. If patience isn't your strongest virtue or you desperately need the rewards, you can skip the wait by using Gems or a Chest Key.
