Tower Troops are new offensive cards that you can add to your decks in Clash Royale. You can customize how your Princess Towers deal damage based on the troop you select.

First outlined in the game's development roadmap for 2024, Tower Troops are a powerful new addition that will add a new dimension to the gameplay in Clash Royale. With these troops, you will be able to counter specific cards and whichever decks are currently popular in the meta.

How To Unlock Tower Troops In Clash Royale

You can unlock Tower Troops by reaching certain Arenas on the Trophy Road. So, the best way to obtain these troops is to win Trophy Road matches and collect as many Trophies as possible.

The Tower Princess Tower Troop will be automatically unlocked for you.

How To Add A Tower Troop To Your Deck In Clash Royale

Selecting a Tower Troop for your deck is simple. To add a Tower Troop, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Collection tab.
  2. Select the 'Decks' tab and scroll down to your Towers.
  3. Choose the Tower Troop you want to add to your deck.

It's as straightforward as this. Once you complete these steps, you will be ready to enter any battle with the Tower Troop of your choice.

How To Upgrade Tower Troops In Clash Royale

Like other cards in Clash Royale, you can upgrade Tower Troops until their Elite Level (Level 15). As you might expect, upgrading Tower Troops will improve its stats and abilities during battle.

Different levels require different resources. You can upgrade a Tower Troop in Clash Royale by following these steps:

  • Level 2 – 14: Use Gold and duplicate cards to upgrade Tower Troops
  • Level 14 – Elite Level: Use Elite Wild Cards to upgrade Tower troops

During any battle, the level of your Tower Troop cards is capped to your current Tower Power.

Duplicate Tower Troop cards will be converted into Elite Wild Cards based on the same ratio as regular cards.
