A new season update has been launched in Clash Royale and you know what that means - a new Card Evolution. If you said balance changes and events, then you would also be right.

But for now, let's focus on the new Card Evolution. The August season sees the Knight get an evolved version of its regular card.

From the looks of things, he is a strong upgrade to the normal form and by all accounts is a powerful card for its mana cost.

Here is a look at the evolved Knight's stats and abilities (in comparison to the regular Knight card):

  • HP increased by 30%
  • Hit Time is 25% shorter (from 1.2 seconds to 0.9 seconds)
  • Hit Speed is 33% faster
  • Damage increased by 10%
  • DPS increased by 45%
  • 80% damage reduction while moving

You will need to have played the Knight's regular card two times (2 cycles) to activate the Knight evolution. As with other Card Evolutions, once you play the evolved form, you will need to repeat the number of cycles before you can use the evolved form again.

The Knight joins the small but illustrious list of cards that have a Card Evolution. This includes Firecracker, Royal Giant, and the most recently added Mortar.

We can continue to expect more cards to receive a Card Evolution in the future. Supercell previously stated that a new one will be released every season.

It is unclear which card is slated to get the next one, but many speculate that Bats will be the lucky pick. We will have to wait and see if this is true.
