In Call of Duty: Mobile, creating custom loadouts for your favorite guns via the Gunsmith is one of the most rewarding things to do in the game.

In standard multiplayer modes, using your favored loadout is easy, as you can not only select it before you jump into a game but also change your loadout on the fly throughout a match.

But can you use custom loadouts in the game's battle royale mode? It's a question that stumps a lot of players. In battle royale matches, you drop in with only a secondary weapon, forced to pick up whatever gun is lying around and make do.

Thankfully, using custom loadouts in COD: Mobile's battle royale mode is possible - and you can even create several different loadouts that can be made available to you on the battlefield. This guide will show you how.

How To Create Custom Loadouts For The Battle Royale Mode

Before we get into how to actually get your custom loadout during a match, we will look at how you create the custom loadouts you will be able to choose from.

To do this, you will want to go to the 'Loadout' menu and, from there, navigate to the 'Battle Royale' tab.

On the bottom right of this menu, where it says 'Customize Airdrop Weapons', you can select up to five loadouts you have previously created in the Gunsmith. These are the custom loadouts that will be available to you in the battle royale mode.

You can also choose your starting secondary weapon, any camos, wingsuit, parachute, and battle royale class here.

Once you have selected your five custom loadouts for battle royale, you need to know where to find them on the battlefield.

Custom loadouts make their way onto the battlefield in one way, through what is called Arsenal Airdrops.

Now, what confuses so many players is that there are two types of Airdrops: standard Airdrops and Arsenal Airdrops. Both are delivered by a cargo plane flying over the map, dropping similar-looking boxes, but there are key differences.

The first is the color and icon of the Airdrops are given on the minimap. The Standard Airdrops are denoted by a green box, while Arsenal Airdrops are pink/purple and feature a wrench.

The boxes themselves are also different. Green boxes are a forest green color, while the Arsenal Airdrops are a deep blue.

When an Airdrop is on the way, an audio and text message is delivered to players. For standard Airdrops, this is 'Airdrop on the way'; for Arsenal Airdrops, it is 'Arsenal Airdrop on the way'.

Both Airdrops, when on the ground, also send up a red plume of smoke, helping you find it.

Inside a standard Airdrop, you can find supplies and possibly Mythic weapons, meaning if one is nearby, it is still worth venturing out for.

As mentioned before, Arsenal Airdrops are where you will find your custom loadouts. Once you reach an Arsenal Airdrop, interact with it, and a menu will come up showing your previously configured custom loadouts.

You can only pick one of these, so choose wisely. However, take note - if you find another Arsenal Airdrop, you can select another one of your custom loadouts, to be used as your other primary weapon.

Also worth noting is that these custom loadouts will only be as good as you have designed them. Weapons can have over 50 attachments and perks associated with them, and you need to level up the gun to its maximum level to have them all available to you.
