The Krig 6 is the newest assault rifle in Call of Duty: Mobile, arriving with 2: Heavy Metal. Here's how to unlock the gun and an early best loadout.
The release of Season 2: Heavy Metal for Call of Duty: Mobile has arrived. The update Introduces a raft of new features and content, and there is plenty for players old and new to get their teeth into.
One of the new additions is the Maddox assault rifle. First seen in Black Ops III, this bullpup AR can be a good friend or a fearsome foe, and you will want to unlock it as soon as possible.
Below we show you how to unlock the Maddox and provide an early contender for the best loadout - courtesy of the developers themselves.
How To Unlock The Maddox In Call of Duty: Mobile Season 2
Like many new guns in Call of Duty: Mobile, the Maddox is unlocked through the battle pass.
Players must level up the Season 2 battle pass to tier 21 to unlock the Maddox. Thankfully, it is part of the free track, so everyone who wants to should be able to get their hands on it.
Leveling up the battle pass is achieved by collecting battle pass XP, earned by playing games, getting kills, and so on.
There is a way to speed up the process: purchasing the Battle Pass Bundle, which costs 1280 CP (approx. $12). This bundle instantly unlocks the first 12 tiers and increases battle pass XP gain by 25%.
The Maddox Loadout In COD: Mobile Season 2
Admittedly, we haven't had any hands-on time with the Maddox ourselves. However, the developers have offered an optimal loadout for the new assault rifle.
- Muzzle: Echo Fire Mod
- Laser: Aim Assist Laser
- Stock: Agile Stock
- Underbarrel: Task Force Grip
- Ammunition: Extended Mag A
This loadout is designed to increase the gun's fire rate and improve its accuracy and includes an attachment unique to the weapon, the Echo Fire Mod.
This mod increases the gun's maximum damage, and with it having relatively low damage at base level, is a good choice for an assault rifle that excels elsewhere.
