A ranked mode for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile's battle royale mode has been confirmed.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile's battle royale will feature a ranked mode, though the developers haven't made a decision on whether the recently revealed conventional multiplayer modes will get the same treatment.
That is just the latest tidbit we have learned from the game's social channels, where players' questions are regularly answered by the social team.
Asked whether there would be a ranked mode for battle royale and multiplayer modes, the developers stated that - for the moment at least - plans for a ranked system are only in place for the battle royale mode, with the team waiting to see the reception the conventional multiplayer modes receive before making a decision there.

Call of Duty: Warzone never got a ranked mode, and Warzone 2.0 has yet to get one, though rumors abound that it will at some point.
On the other hand, Call of Duty: Mobile features a ranked mode for both battle royale and standard multiplayer modes, giving players the opportunity to climb the ranks and earn rewards.
News that the developers are waiting on the reception of the standard multiplayer mode will again raise fears that Call of Duty: Mobile's days are numbered.
That game is over three years old now. If Warzone Mobile offers many of the same game modes coupled with the future-proof nature of a new engine and integration with Warzone 2.0 and MWII, it would surely signal the beginning of the end of COD: Mobile - despite what the developers of that title say.
Standard multiplayer modes were made available in the latest update to the invite-only closed alpha. Featuring four maps based on Verdansk POIs, and two game modes in Team Deathmatch and Domination.
The developers claim these are only there to "test weapons, play quick matches, and train for the main affair" - a claim made earlier this week that has already been outgrown.
