Riot is teasing the release of a new card expansion in Legends of Runeterra! Here's everything we know so far from the cards, leaks, release date, and more!

Things will be getting dark in Legends of Runeterra! Less than a month after the release of the last expansion, Forces From Beyond, Riot has already started teasing the next expansion. This will be a tall order to live up to as the last expansion saw the introduction of three champions: Kai'Sa, Evelynn, and Gwen. However, the promotional content has already driven up the anticipation levels as we could be seeing a new champion that looks to tear up the meta.

Legends Of Runeterra New Expansion - Release Date

No official date has been announced to be the release of the new Legends of Runeterra expansion. However, we can expect that date to be revealed during the expansion reveal stream that will be taking place soon.

How To Watch Expansion Reveal Stream

Riot will be hosting a special live stream event where they will reveal the new Legends of Runterra expansion. It will be hosted on their Twitch channel on August 17, 2022, at 9 am PT.

Legends Of Runeterra New Expansion - Card Leaks

Many players have brightened the image that Riot posted with the live stream details and it looks like the Shadow Reaper, Kayn, will be one of the new champions joining Legends of Runeterra!

Several cards have been leaked from the new Legends of Runeterra expansion. They appear to confirm Kayn's addition as the new champion in the game. These leaked cards come courtesy of a Reddit post from u/AngelTheTaco. Let's take a look at all of them in detail!

Of course, there can be some doubt over the accuracy of these cards as they are leaks. However, they seem rather accurate! It looks like we're seeing the developers introduce a level of RNG to gameplay and skill to deckbuilding. Whatever the full expansion brings, we're sure that it'll be an exciting one!
