Timewinder Gauntlets will be a best-of-one, pick and ban format, using three decks with different champions and region combinations. These decks will be built with limited card pools.

Four different Timewinder Gauntlet formats will be available between November and January. Each one will be in the game for a week only.

These are their schedules and rules:

  • Foundations (November 24 - December 21): You will only be able to build a deck with cards that are a part of the Foundations set.
  • Rising Tides Gauntlet (December 22 - January 4): You will only be able to build a deck with cards that were released before or during the Rising Tides expansion.
  • Call of the Mountain (January 5-15): You will only be able to build a deck with cards that were released before or during the Call of the Mountain expansion.
  • Standard (January 16-20): This gauntlet will return to the Standard format.

Timewinder Gauntlets will be available all week long.

If you can get seven victories before two consecutive losses in any of these formats, you will earn a Gold Ranked Icon from the corresponding season. Your first Gauntlet of each week will still earn a Prime Glory for the next Last Chance Gauntlet.
