Get your hunting caps ready because Capcom and Niantic will be launching a second round of closed beta tests (CBT) for Monster Hunter Now for Android users only.

It's unclear what the exact dates are, but it's teased that they will be held soon. If it follows the same schedule as the first round of closed beta tests, we can expect the second stage to proceed in two stages. The initial stage may be held at the end of June, while the second stage could follow in mid-July.

Monster Hunter Now is the latest brainchild of Pokemon GO developers, Niantic, that envisions Capcom's legendary fantasy RPG series as a mobile game.

In it, players will be able to explore the real world using the game's augmented reality (AR) feature to either engage with the many monsters in combat or befriend other fellow monster hunters. Players can also collect items, resources, and weapons on their journey.

If that interests you, then you better pre-register for the second round of closed beta tests for Monster Hunter Now. You can do so by visiting the game's official website.

Be quick as only 10,000 players will be allowed to participate - and again, it will only be limited to Android players.

Monster Hunter Now will be released in September 2023.

  • If you're itching to play some Monster Hunter, then we recommend playing the latest release in the iconic series - Monster Hunter Rise .
