Niantic has announced that its upcoming AR mobile game, Monster Hunter Now, has been soft-launched in four select regions.
Monster Hunter Now has made massive waves since it was first announced earlier this year. Based on Capcom's hugely successful Monster Hunter series, this new mobile game unleashes this fantasy world into real life with augmented reality (AR).
And who better to partner with for an AR game than Niantic after their work on the popular title, Pokemon GO?
With such a star-studded collaboration, Monster Hunter Now is a title most mobile game enthusiasts are looking forward to in 2023.
Lucky for some, they can get early access to the game as Niantic has just announced that Monster Hunter Now will be having a soft launch in four select regions.

If you are living outside of these regions or are an iOS user, you will still have to wait until the game is officially launched - or until Niantic adds more regions to the soft launch.
In the meantime, you can pre-register for the game and get exclusive rewards depending on the registration milestones reached.
- If you can't wait for the global launch of Monster Hunter Now, you can still play one of the games from the iconic series! Our personal favorite is Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin .
Monster Hunter Now promises to take you on an epic quest to hunt down monsters (some of which you may recognize from Monster Hunter history) in your area. You can utilize the many weapons and gear at your disposal to take them down.
Gather resources to upgrade your armory and you will be ready for another journey.
News of this soft launch comes shortly after a second round of closed beta tests was held. Monster Hunter Now will be released worldwide on September 14, 2023.
