Supercell has revealed their plans to make small changes to the Fame system in Brawl Stars.

Since its introduction to the game in late 2022, Fame has remained a relatively unchanged feature. The system is meant to serve as a cosmetic progression system for players who have unlocked all the available brawlers in Brawl Stars.

On this track, they can progress through the various Fame ranks to unlock special cosmetics that can be showcased during games.

With the Brawl Stars team recently focusing on reworking key areas of the game such as the Brawl Pass, Clubs, and most recently the Power League, it was not surprising that a feature like Fame would also be affected.

After the rework, 'Frames' will be called 'Battle Cards.' This will not majorly affect how they work in Brawl Stars. They will continue to be cosmetic decorations but they will be more visible now.

When you enter any battle, your Battle Card shown at the beginning of the match will change based on your Fame rank. As expected, these Battle Card designs will gradually become better the higher your Fame rank.

Besides this, Fame's progression system will remain the same. Credits are still needed for you to climb through the various ranks and levels.

At the time of writing, it is unclear when Supercell plans to release the Fame rework to Brawl Stars. Regardless, we anticipate the release date to be during the March 2024 season. More details about this rework are expected to be provided in the upcoming Brawl Talk on February 24, 2024.
