There is a variety of unique Fish in the game that you can catch and use to craft Charms and materials, make food items and so on.
But to get started with fishing in LEGO Fortnite, you must know about all regular and legendary Fish in the game and how you can catch them. This is where our guide comes in handy. So keep reading!
All Regular & Legendary Fish
At the time of writing this guide, we have fifteen unique Fish in LEGO Fortnite. These are:
- Orange Flopper
- Blue Flopper
- Green Flopper

- Black and Blue Shield Fish
- Purple Thermal Fish
- Raven Thermal Fish
- Silver Thermal Fish
- Blue Slurp Fish

Moreover, each of the above Fish has their Legendary version with a very low spawn rate, which you can get based on your RNG.
How To Catch Fish
To catch fish in LEGO Fortnite, you need a Fishing Rod and a Bait Bucket. At the moment, we have four different rarities of Fishing Rods and Bait Buckets in the game. These are:
Fishing Rods
- Common Fishing Rod
- Uncommon Fishing Rod
- Rare Fishing Rod
- Epic Fishing Rod
Bait Buckets
- Common Bait Bucket
- Uncommon Bait Bucket
- Rare Bait Bucket
- Epic Bait Bucket
You can also find Fishing Spots in every biome. Look for white glowing light and a flock of fish.
Once you have a Fishing Rod and a Bait Bucket crafted, use the Bait Bucket in any water body to create a Fishing Spot.
After that, cast your Fishing Rod line and start catching the fish. That's it.
What Are Legendary Fish Used For
As per the LEGO Fortnite Going Fishin' patch notes, the Legendary Fish in the game are used for base decoration purposes.
Be sure to hold onto those Legendary fish! There will be a way to display them in a future update.
