For players who don't know, the Fishing activity was finally added to LEGO Fortnite. With that, we have new food items you can make in the game to use as crafting material or to consume to get rid of Hunger and restore HP and other benefits.

Among the new food items associated with Fish, Fish Fillet is one of the important ones, as you need it to unlock the Common Bait Bucket, which is further required to unlock other bait in the game.

How To Get Fish Fillet

In LEGO Fortnite, you can use the Fish you catch in the different biomes using your Fishing Rod at the Food Processor machine to process them into Fish Fillets.

To put it in simpler terms, first craft a Fishing Rod and capture any of the below fish:

Orange Flopper
Blue Flopper
Green Flopper
Vendetta Flopper
Black and Blue Shield Fish
Purple Thermal Fish
Raven Thermal Fish
Silver Thermal Fish
Blue Slurp Fish
Purple Slurp Fish
Yellow Slurp Fish
Blue Small Fry
Cuddle Jelly Fish
Slurp Jelly Fish
Molten Spicy Fish

Once that is done, the next step is to craft the Food Processor through the 'Build Menu.' To craft it, you need the following materials:

Plank x8
Bone x7
Wooden Rod x3
Granite x6

After crafting the Food Processor and catching any of the listed Fish, you can interact with it to open the food processing menu where you can use Fish to get Fish Fillet.

To craft the Common Bait Bucket, you must first transfer the crafted Fish Fillet to your inventory. Once you do that, you will unlock the recipe for Common Bait Bucket.

After that, you need to interact with the Food Processor again, and you will find the Common Bait Bucket in the crafting list.

Unlocking Other Baits

To unlock the other Baits, which are Uncommon Bait Bucket, Rare Bait Bucket and Epic Bait Bucket, you must have the Common Bait Bucket crafted and in your inventory while having the Juicer facility unlocked.
