Brawl Stars Have Confirmed The Surprise Return Of Boxes

Long after Supercell decided to remove Boxes from Brawl Stars, these tiny reward boxes will be making their way back to the game.

In late 2022, Supercell made the decision to completely remove Boxes from Brawl Stars. It was a game-changing move that would reshape the way the game was played.

The reasoning behind this massive decision was that, due to the randomness of the drops in the Boxes, it was too challenging for players to receive the rewards they wanted. So, they scrapped it and replaced it with a better system that includes the Starr Road and Starr Drops.

Now, nearly two years later, Supercell has made the surprise decision to re-introduce Boxes to the game.

Boxes Are Making A Comeback To Brawl Stars

News of this return was first teased in the title of the upcoming Brawl Talk. The title simply states "MEGA BOXES ARE BACK!!!"

With a title like that, there isn't much ambiguity. Supercell really is bringing Boxes, particularly Mega Boxes, back to Brawl Stars.

However, there is a massive caveat to the return of the Mega Box – it's only for a limited time. During the 'Classic Brawl' event, you can earn Star Tokens which will help you obtain Mega Boxes.

Mega Boxes will be a huge addition in terms of offering players more rewards. Unlike Starr Drops, where you can only unlock one item, Mega Boxes contain a variety of items such as brawlers, Coins, skins, and other items. They will also contain various event-exclusive rewards such as the 'Sovereign Rico' skin.

Needless to say, these boxes offer huge rewards and, if you're like us, you'll want to get as many of them as possible when the Classic Brawl event is available.
