Ubisoft has confirmed that a limited closed technical test for The Division Resurgence will be held soon.
Three quiet months after the last regional beta test for The Division Resurgence, Ubisoft has come out with an announcement declaring that a technical test will be taking place between April 3 and April 5, 2024
Only a handful of players who are "seasoned testers" and new players who have previously pre-registered for this multiplayer third-person shooter will be able to participate in this latest test.
Latest The Division Resurgence Test Points At Looming Release Date
While tests are a standard procedure in the development roadmap of any game, technical tests are slightly different from the regular alpha and best tests.

Technical tests usually feature a trimmed-down version of the full build. This reduced version may see certain gameplay features temporarily removed. Though these are important for the game as a whole, they're not necessarily important for the objective of the test.
Most technical tests are conducted as a stress test for the game's backend system and to ensure that the game can support other strenuous features, which is particularly essential for a multiplayer action title such as The Division Resurgence. This test will also help identify any potential issues the game might face in the future.
Now, what is particularly interesting about the game's upcoming limited closed technical test is the lengths to which Ubisoft will go to ensure that nothing from this game is shared online. Players participating in this test will need to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and will not be allowed to share any of the game's material. These rules were not in place for previous tests.
Regardless of the arrangements with testers, the secrecy and purpose of the test all seem to indicate that perhaps The Division Resurgence is conducting its final tests before its highly-anticipated release.
In February, the Ubisoft team made a massive announcement where they stated that the game was approved for distribution in China. They further stated that, due to the "very positive results of the game's latest live test", the team was planning for a much wider global release later in 2024.
The stars seem to be aligning and we may very well see The Division Resurgence launched soon.
