Ubisoft has revealed that a Rainbow Six Mobile will undergo a soft launch ahead of its global release.
After taking time off for the summer break, Ubisoft has returned to announce that the next stage in their development roadmap for their upcoming shooter game will be starting soon.
A soft launch for Rainbow Six Mobile will begin at the end of August 2023 in limited regions.

This news comes after the game held its second round of closed beta tests earlier this year. Here's what you need to know about the Rainbow Six Mobile soft launch.
Rainbow Six Mobile Soft Launch To Begin In August
Ubisoft recently posted a devlog in which they outline the various new features that will be coming in the soft launch. They also briefly mention that no preregistration is required to take part in the soft launch.
Ubisoft has confirmed that these regions include Canada and Mexico. In Canada, Rainbow Six Mobile's soft launch will begin on August 28 for Android and iOS players. For Mexico, it will begin on September 4 for Android players only.
Other regions expected to be included in the soft launch in the future are the United States, Brazil, Singapore, the Philippines, India, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan, South Korea, and Australia.
New features expected to be available in the soft launch are new operator customizations, gameplay improvements (such as fixes to wall clipping), two new game modes, a beta version of a ranked mode, and ranked events.
Most importantly, there will be permanent progression. So unlike in closed beta tests where progress is immediately wiped after the test concludes, the soft launch of Rainbow Six Mobile will see players' progression be carried into the final launch version.
