In this guide, we will go over when you can expect the next Wild Rift patch and the new champions you can hope to see in it.
Like other titles in Riot Games' illustrious catalog, Wild Rift is a game that undergoes regular and constant updates. Players can expect a patch to be released as often as every few weeks. In it, there could be balance changes, new champions, novel cosmetics, and more.
But, we empathize with a large portion of players who don't always know when the next update will be dropped. So, we've put together a handy guide that you can use to keep track of when the next patch will be released in Wild Rift.
When Is The Next Wild Rift Patch?
The latest Wild Rift update, patch 4.4, was released on October 25, 2023, at 00:01 UTC.
Patch 4.4a will most likely be released in mid-November.
Riot has revealed that Arena (a 2v2v2v2 game mode from League of Legends) and Little Legends will be added to the game in a coming patch. New champions, skins, balance changes, items, and reworks are also going to be added in the update.
As for future major updates, patch 5.0 is expected to be released on January 18, 2024, as outlined in the official Wild Rift patch schedule.
Who Are The Next Wild Rift Champions?
Fiddlesticks, Sivir, and Zyra are the new champions coming in the next update - patch 4.4.
Fiddlesticks was first hinted at in a reference-laden post released in 2022. In it, Riot mentioned "crows spying on us", which can only be concluded to be a hint at Fiddlesticks. He was a boy that was fed to crows and came back a demon. The others have also long been rumored to be coming to Wild Rift.
Nocturne is expected to be one of the next champions to arrive in patch 5.0 or later.
