Riot has revealed that Fiddlesticks, Sivir, and Zyra will be the new champions coming to Wild Rift in patch 4.4. Here's what you need to know about them.
Wild Rift patch 4.4 promises to be a massive new update as Riot looks to celebrate the game's third anniversary.
The patch, named Power Spike '23, will see the introduction of three new champions to the Rift: Fiddlesticks, Sivir, and Zyra. They provide players with an excellent opportunity to experiment with team compositions and item builds.
These champions are only a handful of additions that are expected to debut in the game in the upcoming update. In addition to this, several gameplay changes, a new Arena game mode, skins, and reworks to both Sona and Ziggs are also coming to Wild Rift in patch 4.4.
The update will be released on October 25, 2023. The new champions will be gradually released throughout the patch.
Fiddlesticks, Sivir & Zyra Are The Latest Champions To Land In The Rift
Fiddlesticks, the Ancient Fear, is an ageless horror that is known to terrorize and stalk victims with his deadly, sharp-toothed scythe.
Similar to League of Legends, Fiddlesticks is best suited for Jungling. With a variety of abilities at his disposal, this powerful mage is capable of striking fear into his enemies, draining health, and releasing a murder of crows.
Fiddlesticks has long been rumored to be making his way to Wild Rift after Riot repeatedly hinted at his arrival in a champion roadmap released in 2022.
He was released on October 25, 2023.
Sivir, the Battle Mistress, is an infamous mercenary who is capable of inflicting several scaled-up damage with her jeweled cross blade.
With her set of marksman abilities, Sivir can gain additional attack speed, increased movement speed, and spell advantages that will be crucial in dominating any team fight.
Given her unique set of skills, she is best suited as an ADC pick.
Zyra, the Rise of the Thorns, is an ancient being that will unleash the force of nature on all those who oppose her in the Rift.
This magical mage possesses abilities that allow her to plant seeds of destruction and launch deadly vines to impair and damage enemies. Zyra would perform as a strong support or mid-lane pick.
Before this announcement, Zyra was one of the most highly-requested champions the community had hoped for Riot to add to Wild Rift from League of Legends.
