In Wild Rift, the mid-lane plays an incredibly important part in deciding how any game, be it casual or ranked, ends. As champions have this lane all to themselves, it's pivotal that they focus on farming to accumulate the most amount of gold and experience. These resources allow them to gain a significant advantage when it comes to developing their build.

As the game progresses, mid-laners have the tools to quickly clear minion waves, control other lanes, and roam to other areas of the map to assist their teammates. Overall, a mid-laner's role is dynamic and is key to any successful team composition.

Naturally, it's a massive task to take on the mid-lane. We recognize this and the fact that it can be challenging to figure out which champion would best suit this role. With this in mind, we have ranked all of the mid-lane champions in Wild Rift.

We have assembled this tier list to reflect the meta after the patch 4.4a balance changes.

Our tier list sees all the champions in Wild Rift divided into five tiers. As you may have guessed, the S-Tier contains the best mid-lane picks in the current meta. They are popular in most team compositions due to their strong abilities that make it difficult for enemies to counter.

The champions become less viable as you move down the tier list. At the bottom is F-Tier, which represents the least powerful mid-lane champions. They are, needless to say, picks that you should not consider when deciding which champion to choose.

Here is an overview of our mid-lane tier list:

Keep in mind that these rankings are subjective. We recognize that each player has a unique set of skills and abilities that can influence the overall performance of the champion at hand. This is to say that players are also an important factor in whether a champion overperforms or underperforms in the mid-lane.

The best mid-lane picks in Wild Rift are Ahri, Akali, Kassadin, Morgana, Vex, and Zoe.

From our experience, they have proven time and time again that they are the ideal champions for this role. They possess strong wave-clear abilities, burst damage, and mobility. These are the perfect building blocks for builds that easily clear minions, exert pressure on other lanes, and contribute to team fights. Ultimately, you can rely on them to be potent late-game champions when you need an ADC carry.
