Wild Rift Patch 4.3 New Champions: Nilah, Hecarim & Vladimir

Riot has revealed that Nilah, Hecarim and Vladimir will be the next batch of champions who will be added to Wild Rift in patch 4.3.

Patch 4.3 will be coming to Wild Rift on July 19 and as you might have expected, new faces will be joining the game.It has been revealed that Nilah, Vladimir, and Hecarim will be landing in the Rift with a unique set of abilities and ultimates.

Their additions will certainly shake up the meta alongside the new runes, champion reworks, novel skins, and many more gameplay changes.

These three champions will lend their skills to various sections of the Rift, including the dragon lane, mid-lane, and jungle. That being said, here's a look at Wild Rift's newest champions in patch 4.3.

Wild Rift Patch 4.3 Adds Nilah, Vladimir & Hecarim As New Champions

We'll take a deep dive into each champion's respective abilities and ultimates below.

Nilah's Abilities And Ultimate

Nilah is a dragon lane champion who can play as a strong short-range marksman. With her whip sword, she can take on even the mightiest of champions with her high-damage abilities. Use her to also grant additional buffs to allies.

Here's a look at Nilah's abilities and ultimate:

  • Joy Unending (Passive): Nilah gains increased experience from last-hitting minions. It also comes with the ability to enhance and share nearby healing and shielding from her allies
  • Formless Blade (First Ability): Nilah will damage any enemies she hits in a straight line of her chosen direction. It will also increase her attack range for a limited time.
  • Jubilant Veil (Second Ability): Nilah receives increased movement speed and grants her evasion. Any allies she touches, while this ability is active, will also gain this effect.
  • Slipstream (Third Ability): Nilah will dash forward to a target. Any enemies she passes through on her way to the target will be damaged.
  • Apotheosis (Ultimate): Nilah will twirl her whip-blade and deal damage to nearby enemies before pulling them closer to her.

Nilah will be released to Wild Rift on July 21, 2023.

Vladimir's Abilities And Ultimate

Vladimir is a solo-lane champion who's a perfect pick for those looking for extensive crowd-control skills. With his ability to deal burst damage and self-sustain his HP, Vladimir is a champion who can masterfully carry in the late game.

Here's a look at Vladimir's abilities and ultimate:

  • Crimson Pact (Passive): Every 30 points of bonus HP gives Vladimir 1 ability power. Additionally, every 1 point of ability power gives Vladimir 1.6 bonus HP (does not stack with itself).
  • Transfusion (First Ability): Vladimir will steal life from a target enemy. When Valdimir's resource is full, Transfusion will benefit from increased damage and healing for a limited amount of time.
  • Sanguine Pool (Second Ability): Vladimir will fall into a pool of blood and become untargetable for two seconds. Enemies caught in the pool will be slowed while Vladimir steals HP from them
  • Tides of Blood (Third Ability): Vladimir sacrifices some HP to charge up a blood shot that, when released, deals damage in the area around him.
  • Hemoplague (Ultimate): Vladimir infects a targeted area with a plague. Enemies caught in the area will take increased damage for a limited time. After a few seconds, Hemoplague will deal magic damage to affected enemies and heals Vladimir for each Champion hit.

Vladimir will be released to Wild Rift on August 17, 2023.

Hecarim's Abilities And Ultimate

Hecarim is a jungle champion who is quick off the mark and ready to deal a flurry of damage. Use his abilities to drastically weaken your enemies by dealing both magic and physical damage. This allows Hecarim to be an ideal pick for those looking to initiate team battles.

Here's a look at Hecarim's abilities and ultimate:

  • Warpath (Passive): Hecarim gains attack damage equal to a percentage of his bonus movement speed.
  • Rampage (First Ability): Hecarim deals huge physical damage to enemies with his cleaver. If he damages at least one enemy, he increases the damage and lowers the cooldown of subsequent Rampages.
  • Spirit of Dread (Second Ability): Hecarim will deal magic damage to nearby enemies for a short duration. He will gain HP equal to a percentage of any damage the enemies take.
  • Devastating Charge (Third Ability): Hecarim gains additional movement speed and can charge through units for a limited time. His next attack will knock the target back and deal additional physical damage based on the distance he has traveled since activating this ability.
  • Onslaught of Shadows (Ultimate): Hecarim will summon spectral riders that charge forward in a straight line and deal magic damage to enemies in the path. He will then create a shockwave when the charge is completed to cause nearby enemies to flee in terror.

Hecarim has not been given an official release date yet.
