Evolved Archers are one of the new Card Evolutions in Clash Royale that will offer Archers improved stats and abilities. Here is an overview of the evolved card.
Archers are one of the most common additions in any of the best-performing decks in Clash Royale. They provide unique utility due to their low-cost, ability to attack both ground and flying troops, as well as their ability to serve as buffers or distractions for the more powerful troops in a deck.
Now, they have a Card Evolution form that is set to improve upon their already impressive reputation. With it, the base Archer card will gain upgraded stats and a new ability after it is played a certain number of cycles.
The Archers Evolution card was released to Clash Royale in Season 53 (November 2023).
That said, here is everything you need to know about this Card Evolution.
Evolved Archers Abilities In Clash Royale
The Evolved Archers have the Power Shot ability. It will allow the Archers to deal double the damage to targets between 5 and 6.5 tiles away.
For the most part, this ability will solve the main issue that the base Archers card faces - its low damage. With Power Shot, Evolved Archers will be able to eliminate higher-HP targets that are commonly run in most decks.

As it stands, Evolved Archers will prove to be especially useful against most troops as they can attack both ground and air troops. Due to their high damage output, they will also be powerful against other Card Evolutons such as the Evolved Barbarian and Evolved Royal Recruits.
To counter the Evolved Archer, it would be best to use melee troops or other cards that can deal close-quarters damage such as PEKKA or the Golden Knight. This will ultimately negate the Archers' Power Shot ability.
Evolved Archers Stats
Evolved Archers will have improved stats in comparison to their base Common card.
Here is an overview of the Evolved Archer's stats:
- HP increased by 25% compared to the base card
- Range increased by 30% compared to the base card
- Number of Cycles required: 2
The Evolved Archers will certainly prove to be a handful against a lot of troops in Clash Royale. The key is to refine the cards that you choose to synergize with them in your deck.
To unlock the Evolved Arhcers, you will need to collect six of the card's unique Evolution Shards.
