EA has revealed that EA Sports FC Mobile will be available for Android and iOS players as an update to replace FIFA Mobile.
After EA announced they were dropping the notable FIFA title from their popular soccer franchise, it was speculated that a new version of FIFA Mobile was going to be released.
With the looming launch of EA Sports FC (what would have been FIFA 24), EA has revealed its first major bit of information about the highly-anticipated release of its mobile version, EA Sports FC Mobile.
EA has stated that EA Sports FC Mobile will be launched as a free update to replace FIFA Mobile. Players will be able to download the update for the App Store or Play Store. This comes as a surprise to some who had expected EA to release an entirely new app for the franchise.
Despite EA pursuing a different development path for the future, many of the features of FIFA Mobile will remain the same. It will still include the latest and most important soccer players, clubs, leagues, and competitions.
On top of this, EA Sports FC Mobile will continue to have authentic licenses for the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Europa Conference League, Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, MLS, and more.

For existing players, their game account from FIFA Mobile will be carried over to EA Sports FC Mobile.
If rumors are to be believed, the game will also have better pitch graphics, improved stadium renders, a new camera POV, sideline advertisement boards, an expanded list of weather effects, and a new UI.
Altogether, this upcoming update promises to provide players with an "authentic, immersive action that features all your favorite players, teams, and leagues."
A community roadmap will be released in the future to outline the current and upcoming content that will be made available for the remainder of FIFA Mobile.
EA Sports FC Mobile is expected to be released on September 29, 2023. You can download the update at the Apple App Store or Google Play Store when that time comes.
