EA Sports FC Mobile - remember that name because that is the new title of the upcoming version of EA's famed soccer mobile game after it was revealed that they were discontinuing the FIFA name in future editions.

With any monumental change such as this, there are many questions regarding the future direction of the game and what we could expect from it.

The game is quickly approaching its release date and EA has made various details about it including its limited beta, gameplay changes, leagues, and more.

When Will EA Sports FC Mobile Be Released?

EA Sports FC Mobile will be released on September 26, 2023, at 07:00 UTC.

It was revealed that EA Sports FC Mobile will be released as an update to FIFA Mobile. This means that EA will not be launching a new standalone app, rather, they will build onto the existing game infrastructure for the upcoming rebrand.

You can become a Founder in EA Sports FC Mobile and receive Special Player Items, Vanity items, and access to the Founders Premium Star Pass when the game is released. To become one, you will simply need to participate in FIFA Mobile's Founders Event.

EA launched the first limited beta test for Android and iOS players between July 31 and August 31, 2023.

For Android users, only players from the countries of Australia, Canada, Malaysia, and Romania will be able to download it from Google Play. For iOS users, the beta will only be available through a Testflight link.

EA Sports FC Mobile will see an overhaul of the game's overall design. It will include an improved user interface (UI), an update to all of the club's squad roster, new kits, and the novel customization section known as the Locker Room.

Among the features expected to arrive are better pitch graphics, improved stadium renders, a new camera FOV, new animated sideboards, and an expanded list of weather effects that include rain and fog.

Besides visual improvements, there will also be massive improvements made to the gameplay experience. Features such as True Player Personality, an improved shooting system, and an input delay balance will be added to the game.

We also learned that new impact controls such as Power Shot, Hard Tackle, and Knock-on have been added to the game. These aim to improve crucial aspects of the build-up play and defending.

Besides this, features available in FIFA Mobile will be present in EA Sports FC Mobile. This includes the ability to train players to increase their stats and OVR as well as game modes such as PvP and Head-to-Head matches. You can also expect Special, Icons, and Heroes player cards.

There will be over 30 leagues and competitions available in EA Sports FC Mobile. With it, over 650 teams and 18,000 players are present in the game. Unfortunately, there will be no women's leagues.

On top of this, EA Sports FC Mobile will have three main competitions available: the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League, and the UEFA Europa Conference League.
