Bethesda has announced an upcoming simulation-style mobile game based on their popular RPG series. Here are all the details you need to know about The Elder Scrolls: Castles.
The same team behind popular game series such as Doom, Fallout and so many more, Bethesda, is currently working on a new mobile game known as The Elder Scrolls: Castles. It serves as the third installment from the developer's legendary Elder Scrolls series on mobile.
While the previous mobile titles, namely The Elder Scrolls: Legends and The Elder Scrolls: Blades, were a collectible card game and an action RPG game respectively, this upcoming title offers a fresh take on the simulation genre that will "put you in control of your very own castle and dynasty."

With you having assumed Kingship, you can use your power to manage your castle, make key decisions that will impact your legacy, and complete quests against classic Elder Scrolls enemies.
According to the developers, The Elder Scrolls: Castles has been in development "for the last few years" and they "absolutely adore" what they have been able to create.
Elder Scrolls Castles Is Expected To Be Released In 2024
A full version of The Elder Scrolls Castles was previously available on Android devices between September and December 2023, However, with no announcement made about it, only a handful of keen-eyed players were able to obtain an exclusive first look at its gameplay.
Since then the game has undergone significant steps forward, with many who have access to the game's soft-launch version giving it positive reviews.
The Elder Scrolls: Castles is believed to be released in December 2024. This comes as the Apple App Store has listed an end-of-year date for the game's worldwide launch.

As alluded to earlier, The Elder Scrolls: Castles is currently in its soft launch phase, with the game available on both Android and iOS in certain countries.
