Jax Revealed As New Legends Of Runeterra Champion

Jax is a new champion that will be coming to Legends of Runeterra in the new card expansion! He's not coming alone and has brought a new Origin and Keyword with him!

Jax has been revealed to be the fourth champion coming to Legends of Runeterra in the Darkin Saga: Awakening expansion. He joins Kayn, Master Yi, and Norra as one of the five champions Riot plans on introducing in the new expansion that will be dropping in Legends of Runeterra on August 31, 2022.

The trailer looks amazing and we can already tell that Jax will be absolutely incredible in the game. So without further ado, let's go over Jax's cards, the new Grandmaster at Arms Origin, and the new Forge Keyword.

Jax brings a new Origin to Legends of Runeterra in the Darkin Saga: Awakening expansion: Grandmaster at Arms. This will allow you to insert any Weaponmaster cards into your deck during deck building.

This is the second Origin to be added to Legends of Runeterra after Kayn's new Origin: The Shadow Reaper. Regardless, let's take a look at Jax's cards:

From the look of things, Jax will be bringing a dynamic element to Legends of Runeterra by introducing new weapons and buffs.

Jax - Supporting Cards And Forge Keyword

To build synergy with Jax and his new Grandmaster at Arms Origin, a new keyword was introduced: Forge. Cards with Forge will grant an ally +1|+1. But, if the ally is Equipped, grant the buff to their item instead.

Forge is the fourth new Keyword to be added to Legends of Runeterra in the new expansion alongside Auto-Equip, Flow, and Improvise.

As we mentioned earlier, Jax is the fourth champion to be revealed out of the five champions we're expecting to see come in the Darkin Saga: Awakening expansion. With the expansion set to be released on August 31, 2022, Riot will be unveiling the fifth and final champion soon.
