The Druid is a unique new Dark Elixir troop in Clash of Clans that is capable of transitioning between two different forms during battle: one of a healing, ranged troop and one of a melee, damage-focused troop.
This allows for a more dynamic approach regarding what your army can do and how you use them to attack enemy bases. Needless to say, the Druid can be extremely powerful for both support and offensive purposes. He could the game-changer your army needs.
The Druid is unlocked after you reach Town Hall 14. After this, you will need to upgrade your Dark Elixir Barracks to Level 11 to begin training him.
How The Druid's Abilities Work In Clash Of Clans
When deployed, the Druid begins in his first form: a ground healer who can jump over obstacles and shoot long-range, healing projectiles. The Druid can target ground and air troops, with the healing only being able to bounce and hit up to five nearby friendly troops. Siege machines cannot receive any healing.
After a few seconds or if he is knocked out, the Druid will transform into his second form: a bear. In his bear form, the Druid is a slow-moving, ground troop with extremely high HP. He targets base defenses and can unleash his devastating melee attacks to damage them.
The Druid will only be permanently knocked out after he loses all HP in the bear form.
