Supercell rarely introduces game updates to Clash of Clans. But when they do, they have the potential to thoroughly shake up the game.
In the past, updates have come in the form of a new Town Hall level, major adjustments to the gameplay experience, reworks to certain troops/spells, and more.

When Is The Next Clash Of Clans Update?
The latest Clash of Clans update came on April 17, 2024. The April update added the Angry Jelly Hero Pet, new levels for both buildings and troops, a Clan Chat Tagging feature, changes to the Clan Wars rewards system, and several other changes.
It's unclear when the next major update will be released.
In other news, it is expected that Town Hall 17 will be added to Clash of Clans in December 2024. Supercell had previously confirmed that they are abandoning their 18-month schedule for new Town Hall levels in favor of a 12-month schedule. Given that Town Hall 16 was released in December 2023, it is only reasonable that Town Hall 17 will be launched at the end of 2024.
Besides all this, you can expect a new season to begin on the first day of each new month.
