Bluehole Studio has confirmed that Dark and Darker Mobile will host its first-ever closed beta test in late April.
It's official. Dark and Darker Mobile will have its first closed beta test (CBT) between April 24 – 28, 2024.
Developed by Bluehole Studio, a subsidiary of South Korean developers Krafton, the game is described as a "fantasy, extraction, RPG" mobile game that encourages players to band together to survive against monsters, collect loot, and uncover the many mythical mysteries.
First Dark And Darker Mobile Closed Beta Test Announced
The announcement was a rather subtle affair as it wasn't so much "announced" on any of the game's social media pages but rather displayed on the official website. A banner on the homepage simply reads "CBT Dates: April 24 - 28."
At the time of writing, it's unclear how players can sign up for this beta test, but we imagine more news will become available as we approach the mentioned dates.
Dark and Darker Mobile is notably a separate version of the mainstream Dark and Darker title, developed by Ironmance, which was released into early access on August 7, 2023.
However, the mobile game will still carry forward similar roguelike gameplay experiences and multiplayer features. In it, players can journey into the various darkness-consumed dungeons to discover hidden treasures and terrifying monsters. Dark and Darker Mobile also promises an engaging PvPvE experience where survival is of the utmost importance.
The game features five unique classes including Barbarian, Cleric, Fighter, Ranger, and Rogue.
Bluehole Studios has previously confirmed that Dark and Darker Mobile will be released in 2024. An exact date was not provided.
